Part 2

Obsession for time

For the second scenario, we went to Little Venice in London. It’s a very nice place to go for a walk, especially when it’s sunny outside. Over there, there are lots of boats, most of them are lent to people who want to stay in there for a few days or a week. We even talked to the guy that hired the boat on which we took pictures. We asked him if it would be ok if we use the boat and he said that it’s not his boat so we can take full advantage of it as he doesn’t mind. Yaay! Finally someone nice. It was sunny that day but from time to time the clouds appeared and then it was a bit chilly so we had to hurry a bit as Andreea wore a very thin silky dress so she was cold.

I improvised a small place so she can change. It was hilarious. It was easy with Andreea because she is very flexible and she can act very well. I did suggest different poses to her but she was involved as well with ideas which was a relief.  With this scenario, the aim was to show the obsession for time and how she wants the time to pass faster so she can be on her own and do whatever she wants, far from her parents’ pressure. She beaome obsessed with this wish because she couldn’t take it anymore.

I managed to make the photo look like she was on the sea in a boat because sea means freedom and peace, but at the same time it might mean loneliness and foreign which is her aim: to go somewhere else to live a new life, her life.

These are backstage photos and unedited shots
